Fundamentals of Cooking, Part II
After I made the bone broth, I used some of the skimmed fat to fry up some russet potatoes with garlic, thyme, rosemary, fresh pepper and salt. I love this simple home fries recipe.
I also turned some of the beef broth into gravy. Then I combined the leftover ground beef and pork and leftover sofritto with some gravy.
I threw the potatoes in with the beef and vegetables and whipped up some cornish pasty dough.
It took some practice, but thanks to this video, I even learned how to fold the edges of a pasty.
